Listing and Gathering Offers
After listing your batteries, we recommend keeping the listing live for at least two weeks to gather offers.
Reviewing Offers and Calculating Final Payouts + Approving an Offer and Preparing for Shipment
After your batteries are listed, we’ll collect offers from our network of buyers. We’ll then calculate the shipping costs based on your location, the buyer’s distance, and any hazardous material fees, if applicable. Once shipping and fees are factored in, we’ll present you with the final payout for each offer, so you know exactly what you’ll earn.
Review the compiled offers and approve the one that best meets your expectations to finalize the sale. As the seller, you are responsible for properly packaging the batteries for shipment.
Shipping and Buyer’s Inspection
We make shipping hassle-free by handling all the logistics for you, including any requirements for hazardous battery transport. Once the batteries are ready to go, we’ll coordinate the shipping with the buyer, so you don’t have to worry about the details. After delivery, the buyer has 10 days to inspect the batteries to confirm they match the listing.
Receiving Your Payout
On day 10 after the buyer receives the batteries, we will initiate the ACH payout to your bank account. The exact timing for the funds to appear depends on your bank’s processing times.

You can list individual batteries to get retail prices, or opt for bulk listings, which can get core, remanufacturing, or recycling prices. This flexibility allows you to choose the best route for your inventory without adding extra work.
Find out what your batteries are worth by receiving offers from buyers- all based off your inventory. Offers are sent directly to Currents admins, aggregated and distributed to sellers every week for you to accept, counter or reject.
You will be paid within 10 days of the buyer receiving your order if there aren't any open disputes.
Buyers have 10 days to review and confirm that the purchased items align with the listing details and to raise a dispute if necessary. Sellers must accurately represent their inventory to avoid potential returns.
Buyers pay for shipping when they purchase your listing from our marketplace. Alternatively, buyers can make you an offer where they present you with a price they're willing to pay, and in that offer they'll indicate if they cover shipping or not with their offer.
It sure is. When your inventory sells, Currents charges a standard 5% seller commission. During the listing process, your expected earnings are clearly displayed to ensure transparency.
