Buying programs act like a standing offer: if a user's inventory fits your criteria and price, a purchase order is issued on your behalf. It’s a way to secure the inventory you want - without having to chase it down manually.
A hold is placed after a seller accepts your offer and confirms and creates a purchase order. Your payment method will be charged after you review and accept the load during the Buyer Acceptance period. You get committed inventory, not surprise charges.
During the buyer acceptance period, you can review the material that arrives and confirm it matches your buying program terms. You’re only charged after this period ends. If something doesn’t line up, you can file a claim to adjust the price tier the seller used based on your original purchase order criteria.
