Portland, March 20 – Currents, the leading business-to-business marketplace specializing in the end-of-life EV and hybrid battery supply chain, is proud to announce the appointment of Tyler Helps as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective since Janurary.

In his role as Co-Founder and CCO, Tyler will spearhead all aspects of business strategy, sales, go-to-market, and revenue, further propelling Currents toward its mission of enabling battery circularity and revolutionizing sustainable mobility solutions.

With a decade of experience in the end-of-life EV and hybrid industry, Tyler Helps brings a wealth of expertise and a visionary approach to Currents. Previously serving as the Director of Business Development at Spiers New Technologies within Cox Automotive, Tyler played a pivotal role in spearheading Advanced Battery programs across the US and Europe. His comprehensive understanding of the battery lifecycle, from manufacturing and assembly to refurbishment and end-of-life recycling, uniquely positions him to drive innovation and growth within Currents.

Tyler Holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma (OU) and remains actively involved as a member of the Board of Advisors for the College of Electrical Engineering. His commitment to sustainability and innovation has earned him recognition as a sought-after speaker and industry influencer.
