Make Offer Policy
Overview
Currents’ Make Offer feature allows buyers and sellers to negotiate directly within the app. Buyers can submit offers on listings, and sellers can instantly accept, counter, or decline offers, making transactions faster and more flexible.
How to Make an Offer
- Click “Make Offer”
- From the marketplace view or listing page, click the Make Offer button
- Enter Offer Details
- Enter your offer price.
- Specify who will pay for shipping.
- Add any terms or conditions (optional).
- Choose your delivery location.
- Submit Your Offer
- After reviewing your information, click Submit. Your offer is instantly sent to the seller for review.
Managing Offers
- Buyers can view submitted offers under the For Purchase section.
- Sellers can view incoming offers under the For Sale section.
- Offers show a red notification dot when action is needed.

Offer Response Timeline
- Valid for 7 days
- Sellers and buyers have 7 calendar days to respond to an offer (accept, counter, or decline).
- Seller Options - Sellers can:
- Accept the offer
- Submit a counteroffer
- Decline the offer
- Match the buyer’s last offer if negotiations stall
After Offer Acceptance
- Once an offer is accepted, buyers must submit an order request to finalize purchase details.
- Prompt payment is required to secure the item. Listings remain visible to other buyers until payment is completed.
Important Notes
- Shipping Details Matter: Always specify delivery location—especially important for freight items.
- Communication is Key: Sellers may respond more favorably if buyers include clear, polite terms.
- Offer Retractions:
- Contact sales@currents.market immediately if you need to retract an offer before a seller responds.
- Multiple Offers: Thoughtful, reasonable offers are encouraged. Excessive low offers may be ignored.
No Sharing of Personal Contact Information
To ensure a safe, transparent, and trackable transaction process for all users, Currents strictly prohibits buyers and sellers from including personal contact information (such as phone numbers, email addresses, or external links) in offers, counteroffers, listing descriptions, or any message exchanges on the platform.
Why We Enforce This Rule:
- Safety & Privacy: We protect both buyers and sellers by keeping all communication within the Currents platform.
- Transaction Integrity: Offers, counteroffers, and final sale terms must be documented within the app to ensure a verifiable transaction record.
- Support Resolution: If any issues arise, our team can only assist with negotiations and transactions that occurred within the platform.
What Happens If This Rule Is Violated:
- The message or offer may be removed.
- Repeat violations may result in a suspension or ban from the Currents platform.
If you need to clarify details, use the “Terms of Offer” field to communicate within the app—but without including contact info.
